Tuber Aestivum Vittadini This truffle reaches its maturation between May and October. It’s external color is usually brown or black with the presence of huge warts. The internal part is represented by hazelnut color, with numerous white veins which create a characteristic marble effect. The ascies contain 1-2 elliptic spores with the rare quills. The perfume is less strong in respect of that one of precious truffle, it is very close to the usual mushroom smell or to that one of wet ground.
